The Challenge

Edenmoore; a 30-year-old award-winning British meat brand formerly known as Pipers Farm; had built a loyal D2C customer base on Shopify. But as the brand scaled, their tech was holding them back.

Their checkout was still running on Shopify's legacy system. The cart experience required full page loads, creating unnecessary friction. Post-purchase data collection was nonexistent, and their organic visibility for high-intent keywords was underperforming relative to the brand's authority.

They needed a long-term development partner, not a one-off agency, who could embed with their e-commerce team, move fast, and elevate the entire buying experience without disrupting a brand that customers already trusted.

What DAAS Labs Built

01 — DRAWER CART MIGRATION

We migrated the store from a traditional cart page to an in-page drawer cart experience using Liquid customisations. Customers can now add items, view their basket, and proceed to checkout without ever leaving the product page — significantly reducing drop-off at the consideration stage.

02 — SHOPIFY CHECKOUT MODERNISATION

Edenmoore was still on Shopify's legacy checkout system. We scoped and executed the full migration to Shopify's new checkout, including rebuilding any custom logic that relied on the old architecture. The new checkout is faster, mobile-optimised, and fully compatible with Shopify's evolving ecosystem.

03 — CUSTOM CHECKOUT SURVEY APP

We built a bespoke post-checkout survey app that captures customer attribution data directly inside the thank-you flow. This gave the Edenmoore team insight into which channels were actually driving conversions — data they previously had no way to collect at scale.

04 — KLAVIYO INTEGRATION

We integrated Klaviyo with the store's customer data layer, enabling the e-commerce team to trigger behavioural flows based on cart activity, purchase history, and browsing patterns. This unlocked the brand's email channel as a meaningful retention tool.

05 — TECHNICAL SEO & GEO OPTIMISATION

We audited and improved the store's technical SEO foundation — crawlability, structured data, page speed, and internal linking. We also layered on GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) work to ensure the brand was represented accurately in AI-powered search surfaces, protecting and growing their organic channel.

06 — ONGOING MAINTENANCE & UI/UX POLISHING

Beyond major initiatives, our team provided continuous development support: bug fixes, UI refinements, landing page deployments, loyalty scheme integrations, and proactive recommendations. We operated as an extension of their in-house team — not a ticket queue.
