The 14-Day Guarantee

"If the deliverables from your first sprint don't meet the standard you briefed, you're entitled to a full refund of your first month's subscription — no negotiation, no partial credit."

We built this guarantee because we're confident in what we deliver and because we believe you shouldn't take a financial risk to find out if we're as good as we say. If the first sprint isn't right, we'd rather return your money than keep it.

What's Covered

✓ Deliverables that don't match the approved sprint brief
✓ Features that don't function as specified after delivery
✓ Missed delivery within the guaranteed sprint window (48–72hrs) without prior communication
✓ First-sprint engagements that don't meet quality expectations, for any reason, within 14 days

What's Not Covered

✗ Change-of-mind after a sprint is delivered and approved
✗ Deliverables that match the brief but don't produce the business outcome you hoped for
✗ Work on sprints beyond the first (covered by the Terms of Service dispute process instead)
✗ Third-party costs incurred during the engagement (hosting, API fees, licences)
✗ Requests to refund after the 14-day window has passed
✗ Cases where brief information provided was incomplete or inaccurate

The incomplete brief exclusion is important — if a client gives us wrong access credentials or an ambiguous spec and the sprint fails, that's not our failure. This is stated plainly and fairly.

How to Request a Refund

Step 1 — Email us within 14 days

Send a refund request to refunds@thedaaslabs.com with your name, engagement start date, and a brief description of why the sprint didn't meet your expectations. That's all we need.

Step 2 — We review within 48 hours

A member of the team (not an automated system) reviews your request and the sprint deliverables. We may ask one or two clarifying questions. We will not ask you to justify a refund request with extensive evidence.

Step 3 — Refund issued

If the request falls within the policy, we issue the refund without further discussion. You'll receive confirmation via email.

Partial Refunds

Only one scenario triggers a partial refund: mid-cycle cancellation after a sprint has been partially completed but not delivered. In this case, we refund the pro-rata unused subscription days. Calculated from the cancellation date, not the billing date.

We do not offer partial refunds for "partial delivery" — if a sprint is incomplete, it's either delivered or it isn't. If it isn't, the full guarantee applies.

Subscription Cancellation

Cancellation stops future billing. It does not trigger a refund of the current billing period unless the refund policy above applies.

How to cancel: email billing@thedaaslabs.com or message your sprint Slack channel. No cancellation form, no retention flow, no "are you sure?" sequence. One message. Done. Billing stops at the end of the current period.
